UPSC Practice recommends Courts can declare, interpret law but cannot entrench upon legislation: SC judge.

Justice Gupta, who wrote a dissenting verdict in the judgment on Tribunals Reforms (Rationalization and Conditions of Service) Ordinance 2021, said the three organs of the State i.e., Legislature, Judiciary and Executive have separate and distinct roles and functions as provided in the Constitution.
