UPSC Practice recommends Oil Palm Not at Cost of Biodiversity.

​​Oil palm is land-use efficient, yielding 3-4 tonnes per hectare, compared to 1 tonne per hectare for other oilseeds. A plan to increase acreage must be presented to the public for inputs. Done wrong, it could well be an ecological disaster.
