UPSC Practice recommends On 27th October, the Emden inflicted heavy damage on Allied ships when it attacked the port of Penang in British Malay (#Malaysia), but time was running out. The Australian light cruiser, HMAS Sydney, caught up and after a short battle, the Germans had to surrender. 10/12
