After a strong and persistent push by the downstream spinning and weaving industry as well as industry bodies, GoI had removed ADD on VSF in August 2021. Benefits to the industry were almost immediate and across the entire value chain, allowing many spinners and weavers to expand operations and include viscose in their production processes.
