Caste Scrutiny Committees are quasi-judicial bodies established by state governments in India, often under specific state legislation or Supreme Court directives, to verify the authenticity of caste certificates issued to individuals claiming benefits under reservation policies for Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Classes.
