Background

This concept highlights a critical social issue, a severe violation of human rights, an evolving internal security challenge (protection of citizens abroad), and the complex interplay of technology with organized crime, relevant for social justice and governance.

Human trafficking is the illegal trade of humans for the purpose of forced labour, sexual slavery, or commercial sexual exploitation. Cyber slavery is a modern manifestation where victims are coerced into participating in online fraud and scam operations, often under duress and confinement, to generate illicit income for criminal syndicates.
