North Korean leader Kim Jong Un declared the country's intent to exercise its position as a nuclear state, citing an unpredictable global security situation and blaming the U.S. for escalating conflicts. He also ordered an expansion of conventional weapons and a strategic guided missile cruiser, while accusing the U.S. and South Korea of enhancing their nuclear posture against North Korea. This comes amidst North Korea's defiance of international sanctions imposed by the United Nations and the U.S. on its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.
