India has dispatched humanitarian assistance, including a field hospital unit, medical supplies, and relief materials, to earthquake-hit Venezuela under 'Operation Amistad'. External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar confirmed the arrival of the aid, which was transported by two Indian Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aircraft covering over 14,000 km. The mission, involving a 41-member rescue team and two BHISHM Cubes, underscores India's role as a responsible first responder and reliable humanitarian partner in post-disaster relief efforts.
