Enemy’s intentions unchanged, proxy war still a challenge: Rajnath

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh visited Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, including Drass, ahead of Kargil Vijay Diwas. He stated that the intentions of India's enemies remain unchanged and that proxy war continues to be a significant security challenge in the region. The Minister paid tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the 1999 Kargil War, highlighted the modernization efforts of the Indian Army, and reiterated India's preparedness to protect its sovereignty against all adversaries.
