47,328 Villages Selected Under PM-AJAY Adarsh Gram Component Across the Country; 435 Villages in Telangana

The Central Government's Pradhan Mantri Anusuchit Jaati Abhyuday Yojana (PM-AJAY), specifically its Adarsh Gram Component, aims to promote the socio-economic development of Scheduled Caste communities. It achieves this through the integrated development of selected villages by ensuring the saturation of 50 key socio-economic indicators across 10 development sectors, utilizing convergence of Central and State Government schemes. The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment oversees its implementation, with progress tracked via the PMAGY Portal and validation undertaken by State/UT Governments.
