TRAI revamps 'TRAI MyCall' mobile application to assess voice call quality through consumer feedback
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched a revamped version of its 'TRAI MyCall' mobile application. This app allows telecom consumers to provide real-time feedback on their voice-calling experience, including relevant network parameters. The anonymized feedback is shared with Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) and TRAI, helping TSPs identify network deficiencies and enabling TRAI to enhance its regulatory oversight on Quality of Experience (QoE) alongside technical Quality of Service (QoS). The initiative aims to strengthen consumer participation and improve overall mobile communication quality.
