J&K, Ladakh witnessed wide-ranging transformation since Article 370 abrogation: PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh have undergone significant transformation since the abrogation of Article 370 and 35A on August 5, 2019. He highlighted expanded infrastructure and increased opportunities in education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and sports. The PM emphasized the empowerment of women and marginalized communities through the full application of the Indian Constitution and reaffirmed the Centre's commitment to the development of both Union Territories. He also linked the abrogation to the vision of Syama Prasad Mookerjee, founder of Bharatiya Jana Sangh, who advocated for the full integration of J&K.
