Overview

PM JANMAN is a flagship scheme specifically designed for the most vulnerable tribal communities (PVTGs), reflecting the government's commitment to inclusive development. Its multi-sectoral approach and focus on convergence make it a significant topic for understanding social welfare policies and governance challenges.

PM JANMAN is a flagship scheme launched by the Government of India in November 2023 to improve the socio-economic conditions of Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs) by providing basic amenities and livelihood opportunities in their habitations.
